Marcus Lindqvist

Marcus has spent the better part of two decades travelling overland across Europe and Scandinavia, usually by train and almost always on a budget. He writes our Nordic guides and much of our rail and budget-travel coverage.

He is happiest planning a multi-country Interrail route or tracking down the cheapest way into an expensive city, and he brings that practical, cost-conscious eye to every itinerary he works on.
